Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze (12mph) - Race Time Temp 9C

Welcome in the New Year by coughing up a lung (or two) in our traditional New Years Day 10-mile time-trial. We haven't got a great weather forecast so, as this event is eligible for road bike points, why not keep your TT bikes away from the salty wet roads and ride your road bike?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember your lights! Front and rear.

The essentials;

1. We meet up at the Neath Canal Car Park in Resolven for signing on from about 10.15hrs and closing at 10.45hrs for a prompt 11.00hrs race start.

2. You have to be member of the PTW or a second-claim member of the PTW. There is no 'single race' fee - you have to join the club as a first-claim or second-claim member.

Just a little update on the weather. It's looking a bit wetter now (light rain and a gentle breeze) but as long as there's no real 'spray' then the TT is definitely on.

Well done to 'The Famous Five' and especially to our top two of Grog & Hollie - their times really wouldn't look out of place in the middle of the season. However, Alfie's MOTM goes to Phil Evans for taking SEVEN minutes off his time from last year's NYD 10.
