PTW

Roadworks on the dual carriageway mean that round 4 of the PTW eTT will be on the beloved R10/23 10 mile TT course starting and finishing at Resolven on Thursday 25th March with a start time of 18:00.

RGT is free of charge, as are the events. You just need to go to the event page and join the event beforehand, and then on the day join the event at least a few minutes before the start time. There you can warm up or relax while you wait for your start time. Riders will start every 15 seconds, and drafting will not be possible.

Event is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of whether you're a club member. All you need is smart turbo (not necessarily controllable) or a power meter. Speed/cadence sensors are not compatible with RGT.

Just 6 riders at the start line tonight perhaps showing that the backroad is just as popular in virtual form as it is in real life! Gareth Hill was this week's DNF due to a recent cold.

Until the DNF it looked like a close battle was forming between Matt Jones and Gareth, but the real close battle of the evening was between Darren and Neil crossing the line just 3 seconds apart.

I think we all agreed, however, that Rod put on an awesome display of power. While the rest of us went backwards 30-60 seconds compared to R10/22a, Rod upped his power enough to record almost the same time! Great ride!
