PTW

That's right. The dual-carriageway.

Those pesky lights on the back road may or may not have gone but I just haven't got time to pop over for a look-see so we'll stick with the dual-carriageway.

The weather looks a bit marginal for tomorrow so fingers are crossed for an improvement between now and then.

The essentials;

1. We meet up at the Neath Canal Car Park in Resolven for signing on between 18.00hrs and 18.20hrs for a prompt 18.30hrs start over on the industrial estate.

2. You have to be a member of the PTW or a second-claim member of the PTW. There is no 'single race' fee - you have to join the club as a first-claim or second-claim member.

This final event of the season is now a 'Come and try it' event open to non-club members at just £2 entry fee (to cover the levy we pay to the governing body). So if you're a leisure cyclist or a commuter or a triathlete looking to test yourself against the clock then now is your chance! You'll get a warm welcome and plenty of advice on saddle height

Delighted at the turnout tonight on a grotty looking evening that came good just before the start. Good rides by everyone tonight but Alfie's 'man of the match' award goes to Rod Hicks for a great time tonight and also with a nod towards an excellent season... that's not over yet!

As always, thanks to Will and Triggs for excellent support on the night that I can extend to cover the whole season and I know you are grateful for their support too. BTW Will, Triggs and myself thank you all and appreciate the gifts tonight.

Well, that brings to an end our Thursday night club event season and we just have the hill-climb weekend to come (and the downhill ). It's been a great club event season, made special by such a lovely blend of PTW riders and our equally lovely visitors and it would be great if our regular visitors dropped in to the hill climbs.
