With just two Thursdays left we now revert to our earlier start time of 18.30hrs and a shorter signing on window, so please form an orderly queue (I suggest prettiest to fastest).

With 36 hours to go the weather looks OK with light winds but not completely without risk of showers. I'll get an update from Behnaz in the morning.

Meet up at the Neath Canal Car Park in Resolven for signing on at between 18.00hrs and 18.15hrs for a prompt 18.30hrs start. Remember, you have to be a member of the PTW or a second-claim member of the PTW and you cannot pay for a single race.

Denotes PB

Behnaz knows her stuff! Whilst not a warm float night it was a very nice calm night and at least six of you rocketed to new PB’s including Gareth Davies our first rider off on a new TT bike to take exactly three minutes (yes, three minutes) off his PB and lift himself off the foot of the season long rankings list. Separating Gareth and John at the pretty end of the field was Shirley Howell who knocked out a seasons best whilst ‘Big John’ just snuck under 27 minutes to clip 45 seconds off his previous PB. What a start to the night!

Our first rider back was Heath Williams who took 41 seconds off his PB to record 22:32 and hoist himself well up on the leader board and probably deserves the ‘man of the match’ award tonight. It was nice to see Ellie Shaw (Bäckstedt) record a decent time of 27:14 and go away with some sound advice from John Willy (Bedstead). Rounding off the pretty end of the field, Dave Hendry and Hollie continued their friendly rivalry with Hollie well on the way to catching Dave but with both helping themselves to PB’s. BTW Hollie and Pip were separated by 12/100's of a second. Brad Davies (Bynea) recorded a seasons best 23:53 and David Singleton (Acme) kept up his progression to grab a new PB.

At the fast end of the field, Owain was a bit disappointed with his 22:37 but perhaps he likes conditions to be just a bit tougher. Mike Portlock (MCC) was on good form with a 21:10 and if we have another good night he could just knock down that door to a ‘20’ which is exactly what ‘The Warewolf’ did to record a new PB of 20:56 and so did Rod Hicks with a 20:54 which was Rod's second fastest Club 10 ever.

If you think a two second gap is close then check out our Top Two tonight. Luke Dix (Jif) crossed the line with a superb 20:16 which was our best ride of the PTW Club Event season until Rhys Williams (RDP) crossed the line exactly 59 seconds later to take the win by one second. Hard luck Luke and well done Rhys.

As always, thanks to Dai, Nigel and Will for the superb support on the night. I really appreciate it and I know you guys do too :P
