It's nearly time for PTW's next trip to Newport Velodrome! We have the track on Sunday 30th July from 1 until 3pm. Jason Streather will be coaching, there will be as much track time available as we can handle!
All are welcome- whether you're a track novice or have been before.
£20 for the 2 hours, if you don't have a track bike then bikes are available to hire from the track for about £10 (they use Look Keo pedals but trainers can be used with toe straps)
For anyone who wants to pay me through Paypal send as a gift to-

If there are many vehicles going, perhaps we can car share? _______________ Electric bikes are great. They give ordinary people the chance to know what it feels like to be me.

Car sharing- great if you can organise it between yourselves. Bonus points for encouraging extra people to ride

I got a negative point for not going. Sorry I couldn't make it. Gutted.
Incidentally, for fans of the Port Talbot Plaza cinema, here is a radio programme about it by Michael Sheen:

Quite appropriate for this forum since all of our rides start there. _______________ Electric bikes are great. They give ordinary people the chance to know what it feels like to be me.

Nice link Bill.
Mandy and I have some affection for the dear old Plaza as;
1. We had our first date there*.
2. Her Mum and Dad met there in the 1950's. Her mum was an usherette and her Dad was the projectionist.
* September 1979 - The Deer Hunter. With hindsight, not the most romantic film but there were no multiplexes showing a wide variety of films in those days! _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).
