Hi Guys
Its the last Port Talbot Wheelers event on Next Sunday and we are looking for marshals to assist. I have the refreshment stand, Time keepers and Pushers off Sorted, so now I'm looking for marshals to point the way through the various roundabouts.
Alf, Can I assume youu will work your majic on the results board...... pretty please
Can you let me know if you are able to assist, and if you have any preferences as to where / what time.
If you want to, give me a ring on 07976 601218
Many thanks in advance.
Les

Aye, no problem Les. I'm not in work this coming week so don't spring anything on me too late regarding the result board sheets ; ) _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

Once again The Port Talbot Wheelers came out in force and put on a fantastic Event. I can't believe the number of complimentary comments I have had about the number of marshals out which makes the riders feel safe and generates a great atmosphere. On behalf of the committee can I say a big thank you to all who turned out today and got involved. For all of those who couldn't make it, you missed a corker. Congratulations to all that rode and PB'd and especially to Marcin Bialoblocki who finished in a new competition record of 44 minutes and 4 seconds...... To Quote Spot.... " I saw him coming up the dual...... I thought it was a motor bike"
Yes we have to buy another number 120 as this one has been signed for our collection on the wall.
Brill day, a long day.... I might just have a little tipple to celebrate as when I see the response from the members on events like this it makes me proud to be a member of the club

I can only echo what's already been said- thank you very much to everyone who gave their Sunday morning to make this event what it was
I can see why Spot thought it was a motorbike.. at the end where I was struggling maintain 23-26mph, Marcin was doing 33-36mph!
