I've told you about my dry nipple (ooh, er, Missus) but the chainring bolts was a doddle to sort out as I didn't even need to take them off or touch the chainset at all. I put 3-in-1 oïl on them and left my bike in the sunshine so the expansion thing allowed it to get right in there.

Well I seem to have finally got to the bottom of it. The replaceable rear mech hanger had a bolt that could be tightened up by less than an eighth of a turn. The bike was on the verge of being sent to the scrap heap all over an eighth of a turn on a tiny little bolt!
