PTW

A good day for a few of our club mates at the Bynea 25 yesterday! It wasn't the fastest of days, but it was at least dry and not too windy early on.

Congratulations to Robert Lucas for breaking under the hour for the first time! I'd say the all new PTW skinsuit did it's job, but I'm sure a huge effort at pressing on the pedals had a lot to do with it too

I'd imagine that Tony Howell is over the moon with a 1:01, and I'm sure that's a new PB for Alexandra Thomas with a short 1:03?

Rod Hicks was the top PTWheeler in the main event, with Stuart Evans (fresh from a recent 21:16 10 mile TT!) third and a great effort by Hugh Davies improving by over 40 seconds from last weekend

The stars of the day were Hayley Simmonds who became the first woman to do a sub 50 minute 25 mile TT, and Adam Duggleby & Steve Bate who managed to set a new Tandem competition record with a 43:23 while preparing for Rio.

I'd say that's a decent target for Tony & Shirl??

Matt I think your being a bit coy by not mentioning your excellent pb of a very short 55. Well done and nice to see some reporting of club riders in tt's. It's been a bit dead on here lately.
