Just a quick reminder that the Alf's open 10 is Sturday 7th May at 2:00 pm. This means that Entries (Via the CTT Web site Or by hand to the man himslef ) closes tomorrow night at 6:00pm.

This is the club handicap 10 and you have to be in it to win it So get your entries to Alf ASAP. If your not going to ride, don't forget we need Marshalls and helpers so there is no excuse for taking part.

By the way, the event is on the back road

For your info, the event is also the GHS 10 mile time trial in resolven. This is the regional heat of the British schoolboy/girl time trial championships.

The event is open to all riders 12 years of age or over who are in compulsory full time education. Winners of the age awards go to the national GHS championship. As for the adult event, entries close tomorrow night at 6:00pm and you have to be in it to win it.

Steep learning curve with the new system (entries close at 23:59 on the Tuesday btw) but I will accept paper entries at tomorrow nights Club Event. Only 3 GHS - disappointing.

I find the new system a little confusing. I don't know if it's putting people off entering.

Ray I don't think it,s the entry system. The 25 would attract 2 full fields with the same system. I believe it,s the state of the back road. Terrible road surfice with ruts and potholes everywhere. Hope they do repairs before the presidents road race or it could be a nightmare for the organiser.

Pip has been in touch with the council about it. Fingers crossed they do repairs in time.

I'll agree with Stu, the only reason I didn't enter was its on the back road. I've nothing against the actual back road, it's a challenging ride, but the surface is terrible.
