I was chatting to the owner of the Gelato Gatti coffee kiosk on Aberafan seafront today and she was telling me she was interested in taking over the café at Afan Argoed.

She was trying to gauge interest in how viable it would be and how to make it appealing to cyclists.
I mentioned about the broom wagon in Porthcawl offering a loan of a bike lock while you are at the café.
The biggest obstacle I find with this café is the access path up from the cycle path. It's dreadful in comparison.

If you are stopping by the kiosk, pop in and show your support if you are likely to use it. It would be a shame to lose the café at afan argoed because of the penny pinching council.
