The course is not one I’ve done before and consists of sixteen miles of undulating roads from Manordeilo to Carmarthen. The return leg is 14 miles finishing shortly after the Llandeilo Roundabout.
For the longer standing members of the club, they will know that as it’s the only open 30 mile TT run in the South Wales district it also acts as our Club Handicap 30 championship so it was worth entering to try to become the club champion.
This year, four members entered the event however due to family commitments Rod Hicks had to send his apologies which meant three hardy souls, Stewart Evens, Neil Gregory and myself signed on to start.
What an enjoyable ride, on the way out, there was a howling tail wind and even I recorded 38 minutes and 10 seconds to the turn at Abergwilli roundabout
. Then however came the sting in the tail and the battle back to Llandeilo. 42 minutes or so to do 14 miles Nice!! 
!The scores on the doors were as follows.
Neil Gregory (awesome ride mate I think your about 9th Overall) with a 1:13:36
Stuart Evans another good ride with 1st Vet on Standard and a 1:17:30
With me as the rear gunner recording 1:20:21.

this is a handicap event so to find out who won on handicap, you'd better book a place in the club dinner.
Handicaps are based on times recorded this year as me and Mr Gregory didn't have a last three seasons time.Amazing fact of the Day second Placed rider Phillip Tucker Bynea 1:10:08, First Place rider Kieron Davies 1:3:01 seven minutes quicker than the 2nd placed man. Phew!
