Unfortunately, our dear friend Colin Speakman has passed away. John Willy will update us with details as soon as known but our immediate thoughts are with his wife Anne and their family. _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character).

JC was the first member to ride up The Struggle. He did it on a bottom gear typical of the time, 26 rear sprocket 46/49 double clanger on his Wearwell with Gnutti cotterless chainset

That is awful news. I have known Colin as long as I have been riding a bike, more than fifty years. Another chain in the link gone, a very sad day for Port Talbot Whs. Sincere condolences to Anne and the family.

Colin's son Steve has allowed me to repost a tribute to his dad that he had put on facebook.
Have a read on the main page www.porttalbotwheelers.co.uk
If anyone has any stories of Colin over the years then I think everyone would like to hear them. He always kept us entertained on a Friday night with them.
Feel free to post them on this thread.
