Thank you to all the PTW folk who pitched in to making tonight's event a success. Tony said that he'd never felt so relaxed as an organiser before. That came from not having to push members to volunteer for anything. All help was very willingly offered and in abundance. So a big thanks to the marshals, Les, Spot, Pip, Garry. Jeff, John, Peter (including the excellent event signing). Selwyn & Tudd for pushing, I don't know if Selwyn actually let Tudd get a hand on a seatpost.
It occurred to me that Alf is so good at the board and at doing the prize announcements, including the thank-you's, that he doesn’t always get thanked himself, so many thanks Alf. The youngsters (the Morgans) put in awesome rides, both achieving PB’s. What happened to you Steve Williams? At least one PTW walked away with a prize, well done Stuart. We all look forward to seeing the Photo’s John W. Hurry up and get them developed !! One last thank you and that goes to my catering companions Elen and Stephanie. Sorry if I've missed anyone. It was a great team effort from all. |
