PTW

It's the first of our two 15-mile club events this week and I must admit to having a mental block about the course but I'll get a grip between now and then. This slightly oddball distance is because the '15' plays a part in our Juvenile and Junior BAR award (or at least it used to).

Signing on is between 18.30hrs and 18.45hrs at the Resolven Canal Car Park and then we'll regroup on the back road close to Glynneath for a prompt 19.00hrs start.

Entry is free to club members and second-claim club members and £3 for guest riders from other clubs affiliated to Cycling Time Trials. As always, new members are especially welcome - just introduce yourself and we'll ease you in.

Some good rides there on a warm night but by no means calm.

Turns out I haven't done the R15 for 7 years, so that brings back pleasant memories. PBs very nearly all round (sorry Chris).

Believe it or not, this event was won in 2008 with a time of 40:33, so tonight's time is very nearly 10 minutes faster. Luke passed me on Resolven roundabout sounding like a train with disc wheels. I didn't see much of him after that.
