Hi All,
First of all thanks to everyone who rode last year and this is just to keep you all in the picture. It has been decided to hold the event again this year on the 31st August. We did raise the target amount, in fact the total raised was almost £3500. We are working on the website at the moment as this years event, we hope, will be quite a bit bigger than last years but we want to keep the same 'feel good factor' that we achieved last year. We hope to get the website active by the 1st February. After last years event, many of you put comments on this forum and I would like to ask permission to use these on a testimonial page which will be included on the website, anyone not wishing for their comments to be used, please let me know. If anyone has any comments or suggestions on how we can improve the ride, please feel free to let me know. It is intended to use the same course and format but this year we are hoping to have electronic timing. The results from last year will be on the website. Pritch

Great day last year with a brill atmosphere amongst the riders.

Yoy can also sponsor a few club memebers who are riding from Porthcawl to Paris this summer. Raising money for the same charity. Namely Chris Jones, Dai Smith and Russel Ley who will be returning from the dark side to join myself on this 500 mile ride.
