There is a charity bike ride on Saturday 1st March that might suit some riders especially the ramblers.
It is open to Tata steel employees and their friends and family, so basically anyone.
Details of the ride from the email that was distributed is below.
SCT (Supply Chain Transformation) is organising a bike ride from Llanwern House to Port Talbot Visitor centre on Saturday 1 March to celebrate Tata Founders Day. Starting from 8am, the 50 mile (80km) ride, is not a race or sportive, just a social ride and an opportunity for team building to celebrate founders day, raising funds for charity - and best of all open not only to all employees but to family and friends too!
It is £5 entry to participate with all money raised going to local cancer charities - This year the nominated local charities are Maggie's Cancer charity in Singleton Hospital and St. David's Hospice, Gwent.
In order to help plan the event, we want to establish how many people will participate as cyclists and how many will support us by helping volunteer on the day. SO…If you are interested in registering in this fun-filled but yet challenging event please complete the very short and quick survey by following the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MSW379J

It's a shame the start time is so early as it means getting to Llanwern before 8am. Best option is to catch the train to Newport.

(Unless it's raining
