PTW

Having spoken to Spot we are thinking of heading out to Gwaen Cae Gerwen café on Sunday. The Ramblers ride will leave at 9:30 and head out to neath, pantardawe before heading up the Bevington to Brynamman and dropping into GCG and the café. The faster group will leave at 10:00 and go Via Morriston, Pontardulais and Ammanford

Looks like it was a bit of a no show for the Ramblers but kudos to Les for getting there albeit like a drowned rat. 10 o' clock saw a few more wind hardened riders but no Selwyn! Could this be? Surely a bit of wind and rain wouldn't put Selwyn off but we weren't disappointed for as we turned up to the lights at Baglan there he was all bare armed waiting for us.

We had decided to just head for Mumbles given the weather but as it turned out it improved somewhat and we had a fair bit of sunshine. A bit of a challenging headwind but in hindsight GCG wouldn't have been so bad. Still it was an enjoyable ride even if we did build some nice sand castles on our brake blocks on the Mumbles path.

Spot did clear some of his when he had a race with a pigeon, the pigeon lost. Not it's best move to fly into Spots rear wheel.

Stop off in Mumbles Café for a slutty bacon sandwich and a cracking tailwind home.
