Hi all. For those interested in keeping their fitness going or starting next season in good shape through the winter Ogmore Wheelers are continuing to run their popular chain gangs through the winter.
The pace will be steady and not an eyeballs out smash fest, rather a good way of progressing everyone's fitness. They start tonight: 7pm Bridgend Industrial Estate and will run every Tuesday. Good session last night, myself and young Stevie made the trip over from Port Talbot. 8 out in total tackling the 8 laps at a very reasonable pace.

Hopefully I'll be there next week. It was all too much to get my head around - winter bike, mudguards and lights for this week!

A reminder that the next one is tomorrow night - Bridgend Industrial Estate 7pm, lights are compulsory/necessary!!

Another good ride last night, with myself, young Steve and DC in attendance. We set off in two groups with me & Steve in the fast group. By my crude Strava calculations we clocked 51.48 for the 8 laps. Unfortunately lost a couple of members from our group as some people came through with a sudden surge in speed rather than steadily. Hopefully, this will improve as people new to chain gangs get used to them. great fun though.

Just me & young Steve tonight. Nice & smooth 54mins for the 8 laps and another good turn out (10 I think). Dry, not much wind but noticeably colder than of late.

A good session last night, nice and steady. Some young upstart who goes by the name 'Lloyd' turned up and pushed on but once we'd let him go the rest of us had a good ride. Mike H looking stronger and thinner every week!
