I think Griff and Selwyn should ride alongside the President on all club related rides to avoid such assassination attempts!!

Seriously though guys, thanks for looking after my dad today after some dozey bint knocked him off. Much appreciated. He's a bit bruised but still in good spirits.

I suspect there will be mention of this at the club dinner!

Yep! Your old mans Sunday ride was fraught with incident Davey. First a mechanical, sorted by Mr Bowen, a very tentative phone call to Mrs C to ask for a lift, the ride set off again with me self and little John in between the group and your Dad, all of a sudden there was a shout and we turned to see Mr C picking himself up off the floor and questioning the drivers quality of vision. Myself and John went back, don't know who was more shaken up, your Dad (ever polite) or the driver. I had to get back to get Sian to swimming, but John stayed with your Dad. Glad to hear it's only a few bruises. We seem to be hearing," I didn't see him/her", more and more frequently.

WHAAAAT! the minute I leave them alone chaos ensues......
