Now that we're the wrong side of the August Bank Holiday the last three remaining Thursday night club events start at 18.30hrs. With a reasonable forecast you've still got time to set a PB or, perhaps, ride your first club event and lay down a marker for next season.

Anyway, fine words butter no parsnips so without further ado and without beating around the bush, we're on the dual-carriageway and I'm on the watch.

Meet at the Resolven Canal Car Park with signing on between 18.00hrs and 18.20hrs for a prompt 18.30hrs start.

Getting a bit dark by the end (whilst waiting for that notorious slowcoach Colin Wallace) and the drizzle started not long afterwards but it wasn't too bad a night and some people were especially pleased with their rides!
