A serious accident this afternoon has closed both sides of the A465 between Resolven and Tonna.

Whilst we have a 'Police Form' in for the back road it will be full of diverted traffic and, of course, has a 180 turn on what is turning into a dark and dreary night.

After taking advice off the Club Secretary, for these safety reasons we have decided to cancel the event.

Wish i had seen this sooner, went up the event via Tonna side,thought the road WAS QUITE!, even if the forms were in for the 10/23, the road was choca block with the diverted traffic,could have been worse, it could have been the road race night.

Our next hurdle is Saturday's Open Event as the crash barrier is mangled which normally means they cone off Lane 1...

see if you can get them to move the cones in by about 1 metre.
