This is an early role call for volunteers to assist with above event, so don't be shy.
Event starts at 18:00 hrs.
To allow event form to be sent to police, I need names of club members prepared to be stationed at start and finish points, possibly one of the pusher offers and assistant time keeper.
Then at least 3 more pusher offers required, marshals on route, time keeper and catering help.
Please post below if you can help.

Put me down for a job Jez - anything you like.

Jez, I am 12 hour days that day. I will come straight to the HQ (about 19:30) after work and give you hand with anything from catering to tidying up after.

Thanks for the offers of help to date, as it is a 4 up more pusher offers will be required or the two willing volunteers will be using both hands :-))
Dave I like the idea of a road mans prize, though as my 1st event to organise I don't want to complicate things too much and end up debating who has too few hairs on legs to qualify as a roadie :-)

Ha ha! No worries! Still looking for man 4 though. Any offers?

Just arrived at HQ and conditions a lot better than expected, rain stopped, roads dry on parts and hardly any wind :-))

Well organised Jez, this being your first event and with having just moved homes, quite stressful, I imagine.

Chris Allen and Spot were very unlucky!
Chris puncturing about 300yds from the start! :| . At least it wasn't far to get back to the HQ.
Spot's tribars fell apart on the dual  , shouldn't have asked Iori to give the bike 'the once over' the night before!

At least nobody was seriously injured (Spot did have a grazed knee), and live to ride another day.

Firstly, my extended gratitude goes to:-

Sign master: Antony Vallario

Time keepers: Norman James, Tudor Thomas and Tony Howell.

Pusher offers: Griff, Tud, Pip and Selwyn

Marshalls: Bevan Hulse, Les Thomas and Gary Gregory

Score board master: Kevin Jones

Money man: Jeff Griffiths

Catering: Shirley Howell and my better half Jackie

Also a special thanks to Alf’s wife ‘Mandy’ who could not be there on the night, as recovering from major surgery which took place earlier in the week, but still managed to make two massive fruit cakes before going under the knife. The home made cakes were so nice I don’t think the later starters seen them :D :D Thank you Mandy. On behalf of the club, we all wish you a full and speedy recovery.

From where I was standing the evening appeared to go reasonably well, despite the damp conditions there was little wind and many riders were smiling as satisfied with their times.

Over the next couple of days I hope to publish the scores online and upload some photos which our resident photographer John Williams was busy taking.

hey Jez, great night you put on mate - really appreciate it - I know it takes some doing mate.
@ my team mates Davey C and Jamie - brilliant ride - super smooth! I really enjoyed it!

@ PTWCC committee - I think next year there should be a token 'Road team' award - maybe we can stir some interest and get a few of the die hard roadies to the event too!

Anyway - I still think this is the best event of the year!!!

Well done Jez - you can relax now mate!

After much trying I haven't been able to upload the table of results to the forum :(
So uploaded results and photos to club Facebook page.

Facebook says: You must log in to see this page.

Pasting a table on the forum should be possible so long as you tick "Enable HTML". If you don't have that option then let me know and I'll make you an Administrator.

Uploading photos has never been possible to the forum, so I always say to post them somewhere else and then link to them. One place you can upload them (using your forum login) is the PTW website itself.
