PTW

The plan was to go east to Llantrisant but the snow could be problem. I have heard from Andy that the Gower is clear, so we will go there instead. The route is as follows;- Swansea, Mayhills, Burry Green and Llanrhydian cafe for refreshments. Head home via Clyne Valley then Swansea. See you at the Plaza at the usual time of 10am.

Think I might need stabilisers.

Good ride today despite the freezing temperatures. It maust have been cold, Selwyn had gloves on at one point.

I thought it was going to be just the three of us that left the plaza but turned out to be a good turn out as we picked up quite a few along the way. I think there were eight of us in the end.

Good to see all the snow. I usually don't get to see any outside of Port Talbot as I tend to leave the car in the garage but the roads were actually really good for the bike. The only tricky parts were the clyne cycle track which had some frozen slush and a couple of trees down across the track.

Extra points to Spot for making it out after a skinful last night and not getting home until 4:30am though it has to be said he didn't look his best. He did however have the advantaqe of having antifreeze in his bloodstream.

Well done getting out in that yesterday! The roads around PT weren't so bad but as soon as you moved inland or east they started to get a bit sketchy!
