PTW

Set of from plaza at 9 this morning-4 riders and two drivers. The idea was to give two novice drivers some practice. Andy Thomas, CJ, Striker and myself set off on a cloudy and somewhat cold morning hoping for a better day than Saturday and we weren't disappointed. Headed up the Glyneath bank through Aberdare, Mountain Ash Pontyprydd Llantrisant Aberthin to the Black cat cafe.
Striker got lost climbing up the very step hill up to the cafe. How? You need to ask striker.
Andy had a mechanical problem on the ride - a broken cable to his rear mech - We manage to get the rear mech into the middle of the block and he rode about 60 miles with two gears. Great ride Andy.
Left the black cat heading to Bonvilston, Barry Rhoose Llantwit To Ewenny Cafe
Striker had a little trouble selecting the right gear and tailed off on the climb up to Cardiff Airport.
Some hard work got striker home after a quick stop in Ewenny.
Fair do's to Striker et al who completed 100 miles all in 5 hrs 45 mins riding time.

Next ride planned for Sunday 21st June . Want as many end to enders to ride on this one if possible.

can i just say a very big sorry to dai and the other guys who fentured out today.set my alarm clock for 7 am but apon awakin said hour and hit wot i thought was the snooze button but was acually the off button. gutted before i knew it it was 10 and my opportunity missed.went up killvey hill for 3hrs and give myself a wright kicking cos i was gutted hope to see you on the next ride.appologies once again xxxxx
