After having two explosive punctures with the tandem last Friday night, I've now had another one with my workhorse SuperGalaxy! :evil:

I pumped it up, put the wheel on the bike and was working on the other wheel when the rim decided to fold in half, the bead slipped off, and the inner tube with 90psi in it made a rather loud noise. It was on the workstand at the time:

Just goes to show that a pair of rims lasts exactly the same time as a pair of Schwalbe Marathon tyres.
