Right where do i start !!!!. Met pretty boy, tank and andrew williams (top cwmcarn, gb squad rider !!!) at the top of bryncoch hill, headed back then to rhos, we then went up crai and aT bit of a brisk pace, we then desended in to dyffynog took a right up a 18% climb where we stoped to watch the "cadence junior road race". We then headed straight on towards the storey arms road up over storey arms then acrosss penyderyn moors to hirwaun, now most sane people would take the option and go down the glynneath bank and crawl home done the neath valley but NO, us 4 had decided to hit the rhigos hard, all i can say this climb sorted the men form the boys, and im glad to say i was one of the MEN !!, any way We then desended into treherbert then treorchy where a much deserved cafe stop was welcomed !! And i have never seen so much sugar been consumed by 2 BOYS in my life !!!. Leaving there, which i have to say must be the best cafe in south wales, we hit the bwlch hard, very hard !!! with the same results as the rhigos !.... Spending a nice 5 minuetes admiring the beautifull veiws we decended the bwlch to the afan valley and then took it in turns to put each other in to a box smashing it down the valley where we left pretty boy finish him self off properly up bryn hill, and the rest of us head to the pip house hold to collapse after 5 hours of riding 95ish miles but in total 6 and a bit hours in the chamois....... BOYS AND MEN THAT WAS AN EPIC !!!!!!!

Nice one Charlie Boy!
I had to re-read that first bit when I saw Andrew Williams' name in such exalted company. _______________ "The most important thing in life is not to have the most, but to need the least.” Plato (my favourite Disney character). |
