Never mind Vladivuddyvostok - it just has to be Moor Lane in Porthcawl!

I waited until about half-past-ten to go out for a ride this morning, partly to hide my full-term pregnancy from my clubmates but mainly because it would be a bit warmer milder.

No problems getting to Porthcawl but when I turned into Moor Lane it was like Groundhog Day, i.e. a repeat of last week. I swear the temperature dropped by 6C and I was soon riding past frosty fields and hedgerows, cracking thin layers of ice on puddles the full width of the lane and deliberately seeking out patches of horsey plop-plops where I felt a bit safer.

No Bambi moments but it certainly grabbed by attention!

Nice to see you on the bike as well Alf. You looked in fine fettle sprinting over the top of margam tumps. thats two days on the trot.

by the way, From what I saw I reckon its only mid term..... but then again, I looked in the mirror and was I looking Svelt.........

Personaly i think the coldest place on earth today may of been my nether regions, coming down the road from severn sisters with the club run i went to have a good old scrath down below only to find my bits were totaly numb and i mean totaly numb from the cold air and i could not feel them at all, at a point i actualy thought "shit wheres my old boy gone", but im glad to say life came back to my bits and all in tact!!! phew !!

On the subject of the club run !!! realy enjoyed it today good route good company good day all in all !!, by the time i got home after my post club run spin to mumbles and including the hour i did pre club run i got in 5.5 hours of riding which totaled to nearly 90miles !!
