what freebies did you get ?
I got a rear mudguard reflector
AND I got hit on the head by a pack of Haribo sweets but was too slow to pick them up !!!

"got hit on the head by a pack of haribo sweets", reminds me of a fella I once worked with. I'm not trying to say he was mean,but he dropped a pound coin on one occassion, he bent down to pick it up and it hit him on the back of the head. All I managed to get was a puncture outfit from the ctc stall in the peoples village, Tim O had a bag full of stuff though........poetic aye!

Despite pushing three-year old kids out of my way (hey, life's hard and they've gotta learn sometime) I got absolutely nothing.
Tactically, we could have tripled our chances but Mandy was carrying all the bags and Jennifer thought it was way above her level to be scrabbling about on the floor for 20p worth of gummi bears. What was free however was the lovely smiles from the tour caravan peeps. I found myself in quite a good position near the start
and manged to accumalate One T Mobile t shirt One T Mobile cap One T mobile flag One T Mobile inflatable jersey which I gave to a young lad who missed the freebies One cut lip where I got struck by a fridge magnet (OUCH) Also had to keep dodging various other flying objects Oh also got a bottle of water handed to me.........glad they weren't throwing them around _______________ "We can't all be heroes because somebody has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by" |
