I'm organising a quick 2-day tour to Rhosygilwen for the weekend of 28th May. To save you having to get out your atlas, that's just 2 miles from Cilgerran. Not enough of a clue? Okay, Cilgerran is 3 miles south of Cardigan. Despite this, Cilgerran is in Pembrokeshire not Ceredigion, so the boundary is right between them.
Accommodation is here and looks like this:

Evening's entertainment is Cara Dillon and Sam Lakeman. They play Irish Folk, and are quite amazing. Expect to be blown away.
Tickets are £18 and B&B is about £65 or £75 (places limited, please book your own). There is a place to store and lock the bikes, although it is literally in the middle of nowhere. There is no support vehicle, so you'll have to carry your own bag.
Rendezvous in Clydach, then route goes to Carmarthen for lunch via Fforest, Cross Hands, Llanarthne and Capel Dewi. After Carmarthen it gets lumpy (blame the Preselis), but it's all NCN47 as far as Tegryn, then some literally stunning roads to Boncath, pint of beer in the Boncath Inn, then we start picking up signs for Rhosygilwen. Distance is about 54 miles, but will feel like more. Route back hasn't been decided, but will probably be the same. Weather hasn't been decided either.

Electric bikes are great. They give ordinary people the chance to know what it feels like to be me.
