Via Will, I must sadly report that Shelagh Hargraves has passed away. Our thoughts are with Edwin and the family at this difficult time. The following message to the cycling community is from Edwin;

Dear Cycling Friends,

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Shelagh died peacefully in hospital yesterday. She fought her debilitating physical condition bravely for many years but in the last 2 weeks she became ill with flu then a chest infection and could continue the fight for life no longer.

Last year we rode 4524 miles on the tandem trike mainly around North Shropshire, our best ever recorded annual mileage! Shelagh was never reluctant to go out and when given a choice of return routes she would always opt for the longer one. We had our last ride on 4th March.

Last Wednesday we went to The New Vic at Stoke on Trent to see "Beryl" a play about one of life's real fighters. and on Thursday we took the Arts for All coach to Symphony Hall, Birmingham to hear the CBSO give a superb concert.

I will let you know funeral arrangements soon.

Please pass this email on to other cycling friends as you think fit.

Many thanks to you all for your support and kindness over the years.
