PTW

The Club is to put on a Go Ride race On July 11th linked to the Tour De France. The event will be Registered with British cycling and advertised as a Go Ride Tour Event. It will be open to all kids on a come and try basis and the races will be age related e.g. under 8s under 10s under 12s under 14s and under 16s. The events will consist of a time trial, a race and a devil take the hindmost. The winner is gets a yellow Jersey etc.

However, to put this on properly we are going to need around 12- 15 people so we will be rounding up support. The committee has offered to support the event and help from other members would be gratefully received.

Being accredited with Go Ride is advantageous for the club and helps to get youngsters involved in cycling from a young age.

Well done Garry, Gwyn and Ceri on running a smashing event. Lovely to see the youngsters having a go in a safe environment - the 10-lap race looked quite hard!
