Just to let folk know, If anyone ventures up to Coelbren & heads for the back road / lane that leads you past farms onto Penycae / Craig-Y-Nos be aware that the road has been resurfaced with loose gravel / chippings put on top.

It's a complete death trap not only descending which is impossible but on a few of the upslopes / climbs your back wheel slides all over the place....I nearly wore a set of brake pads away coming down it today plus I needed bicycle clips :0)....Honestly guys it is lethal.
