I'm sad to report that David Lewis of the Cardiff Byways has passed away. This notification of the funeral arrangements has been passed on to me.

Here are the arrangements for Dave's funeral. Please can you put them on the AUK website and YACF and anyone else you think should know.

Friday 25th January

12.45 Wynford Thomas Chapel of Rest 61 Commercial St Ystalyfera SA9 2HU. Service conducted by Alis Parker (humanist).

13.15 Cortege leaves Ystalyfera

14.15 Interment at Oystermouth Woodland Burial Site (at Oystermouth Cemetery, Mumbles, Swansea).

14.30 onwards refreshments at the West Cross Inn, West Cross, Swansea SA3 5AB. Parking at Black Pill public carpark.

Flowers welcome- please meet green burial specifications (no plastic, flowers locally sourced if possible) to Wynford Thomas or bring on the day. And/or donations to Marie Curie Cancer Care Neath/Port Talbot branch.

Dress code:

Formal/Smart Casual/ Cycle colours etc acceptable.

On Saturday 26th Anne will welcome all cyclists to join her at 11 am at Pontardawe Inn for a ride up to the Ancient Briton and back (weather permitting!).
