Sorry, don't think I can make it this Sunday, so whoever turns up will have to decide the route.
Have a good safe ride, and if anyone would like to give us a write up of the day, then that would be nice too.

I'm going to have to miss tomorrow too. I appear to have contracted the female version of man flu!

In the Absence Of Little Kev, Chaos ruled supreme but in the end, the ramblers ride had a good day in the office.

Initially I had suggested Glyncorrwg Cafe but that received little support. Little John, Colin Speakman, Gareth Howe wanted to go to Ewenny but seeing as Gwyn Jones lives there, that was not going to be a good option for the Shirley and Gwyn. The BBCR was heading around the Gower so myself, Gwyn Jones, Shirley Howell and Bevan decided to explore the cycle path to Mumbles. Just as we were about to set off the Porthcawl chapter came flying past which meant Tank and Selwyn Shot off quickly followed by the BBCR The ramblers on the other hand set of at a comfortable pace and did some exporing.

Apologies to my fellow riders but I don't tend to use cyclepaths and as I was leading the way we were all on pastures new. I mistakenly led them on to the one on the left hand side of Fabian Way. Interesting, root growth, Glass you name it you get it but on we pressed into the head wind and got to the Cafe dodging the various piles of sand that threatened to block our route and Puncture Free.

The return leg was wind assisted so it was much easier and we all got back to Port talbot after an enjoyable ride Passing Gareth Howe on his return leg at Baglan. On Returning to the Plaza, we all said our goodbyes and Off I sped to Porthcawl Only to puncture in Water Street..... Ah Cycle paths...... They'll get you in the end....

Nice one Les. Missing the ramblers ride felt a bit like bunking off school. You know, nice to have a break but feeling guilty the same time! Pity about your puncture and the route you took, but that's the ramblers for you.
I should be available next week and full of the joys of winter.
Kara may take some stick for giving in to a little cold, only us men experience real man flu! :(
Any news on the BBCR, or are they still out on the road!
