The depleted squad of Hefin ,James and Dan turned up to the first to the series , and was a very successful one with Hefin riding like a man possessed , going from the gun , only to be chased down by the bunch several laps later , next James had a crack ,took a prime, only to be chased down , the boys are getting marked well by the other clubs. Undeterred Hefin took off again , also taking a prime , and you guessed it ,got chased down again !. After a short lull in proceedings Hefin had yet another go , succeeding this time , and taking a well deserved solo win about 50 yards in front of the bunch, James coming in 4th , and Dan 9th . In the support 3/4th cat event Mark Hillier had a cracking ride in his first ,i believe ,road event and finished in the middle of the pack in what was a nightmare event for the judges only managing with any certainty to pick out the first three places ,Well done Mark . The second of the series which was going to take place on the 21/6/2011 has been postponed due to the track being used for a motor racing practice session , but will be put back on at a later date
