A full squad of the team (with the exception of Dave Crowley who now seems to be recovering from his recent eye problems , but rode down with James and young Dan ,and carried out the coaching and team manager roles) rolled up for the first of the series. The event was run off in dry but windy conditions , and resulted in a lone win for James ,who decided to take off in what seemed a friutless cause ,after a couple of laps , and carried on to practically lap the field ,ably supported by the excellent tactics of the team , no doubt inspired by Dave,s team talk and vocal instructions during the event.Hefin took off with several laps remaining with two other riders and secured 3rd place , Curtis coming in 1oth (i think), Dan rolling in just off the main bunch , probably recovering from his excellent win in the Etape 2 day over the weekend.

Not quite Davey ,James punctured in the JOHN ANDREWS MEMORIAL R/RACE last Sunday, and was left (not spotted by the neutral service car, ?)and was left to walk a couple of miles in the rain back to h.q. must be too small to notice!

Well done lads your having a good season. I think Pip has missed out "your sponsor will be proud"

Spoke to Rhys on the phone last night and he wondering where he his going to fit into the team next year.
If any of you fancy trying you hand in France Rhys says there is 2 or 3 races a week close to where he is staying and recommends you all try it.
