Skippy gave me very strict instructions to pick him up at 04.30hrs :roll: so I was up at four, in and out of the shower and straight out the front door with wet hair and no brekkie to pick our boy up at the appointed time.

Gary rabbited on all through our journey to the HQ and seems determined to do a PB. After getting him underway I marshalled at Hardwick for an hour, had some brekkie (burp) and then marshalled at 'The Charthouse' until about 12.30hrs and this is what our boy has done thus far;

58 miles in 2hrs 45mins

83 miles in 4hrs 15mins

108 miles in 5hrs 45mins

He's on his dinky little lo-pro and started very fast but was slowing down - only to be expected once you stop for food and drink.

I hope he does it!

Just heard from Tudor at the HQ.

Gary's having a cup of tea after doing 187.4 miles. He'll be a little bit disappointed his mileage doesn't start with a '2' but it was quite tough out there with the wind giving it a bit (and I think some rain).
