Depleted squadra strada travelled up to London , well just James actually, in what was to turn out to be an eventfull and expensive day . Action packed from the start for 62 miles on a tight 1 mile circuit. James was up against combines of some of the best e/1/2 riders in the country, and held out well, until a bunch of about 10 riders containing James at the head of the field crashed with less than a half mile to the finish , there was a touch of wheels on a bend which was getting more and more precarious due to the rain which started to fall during the last 11 or 12 minutes and James came down with several others , and found his bike broken with cracked top tube, but thankfully unhurt except for a few scrapes, a sore back and a lot of dissapointment , on losing out on what might have been. Race won by Tony Gibb.CYCLEPREMIER.COM/METALTEK team. p.s. anybody any good with carbon fibre repairs!

anybody any good with carbon fibre repairs! Shame on you asking that question !!
There's only one person to ask and that's our very own bike builder - Jeff Bruce.

Hope there's no further ails James. You going to be ok for the presidents ?
