Hi all,

For those of you who may not be aware I've been working out in Holland since the 28th October.
Look forward to seeing you on the road over the Christmas period. Maybe Spot could try this idea to boost turnouts and club membership on the club runs. However, we might need to wait for warm weather.

Hi Alf
I was made redundant on the first day of the end to end when my old employer 'In Retirement Services' went into administration and did not pay everyone's salary which was due on the 24th July. Apart from 2 weeks temporary work on the Swine Flu helpline not much work available in South Wales.

So I was torn into turning professional as a cyclist or going self employed as a financial adviser in the UK or moving overseas. So I plumped for Holland, as there is a large expat market out here, no hills and you never know that professional contract with Rabobank is still a possibility. Yet to try the 'wackybacky'.

See you soon. By the way, if anyone knows any Brits or other Internationals in Holland, Germany or Belgium then drop me a line it would be much appreciated.

The local cycling club in Haarlem sell beer in the club room !

Met vriendelijke groet/Best wishes,

Striker
