Not sure about the shorts - looks like too much white for my hairy arse. Will they be translucent like the present ones? If so wont be buying them sorry. Helen wont let me out of the house in them.

We are assured the shorts are of a HIGH quality and NOT the white see through versions that some of the guys are wearing

Well if "pretty boy" crowley managed to pull of the simon cowell trouser line at the club dinner (take a look at the club dinner pictures) then i can assure u that u'll be able to pull off "white lycra". And as i said in the other new kit thread, the only down side is the world champ bands are gonna clash with the club colours when me and dave c with a world championship title next year !!!!

quite right disco, needs a bit of glitter to match the shoes too

Seems pretty good but I can't quite see what's going on in the arm pit region, it looks like an abrupt stop/start with the colours not matching and why Grey? Or is that reflective material? Will must approve of that!

Of course, we really need to see the sponsors logo's on the jersey before we can decide...

Posts: 10 just seen proposed new kit, my main concern is if our club name will be more noticable this time? lets hope so.

In case you're wondering, we've now got THREE threads for the same subject so I've pasted Andy's post on to this thread.
To avoid confusion, can we keep discussions on the new kit to this thread ....

OK, a serious question. The homepage states;

"The committee invites all comments on the following by next Wednesday (12th November). "

{and then shows an illustration of the proposed kit}

A bit more information is required, don't you think? I mean, do we formally write or e-mail to anyone in particular? (Preferred).

Or are comments here (by paid-up club members, naturally) going to be acceptable?

Or you could meet with committee members at Club night in Taibach.

to whoever is responsible for the pictures of the proposed new club kit on the website ,any chance of bigger images? so that everyone can have a clearer picture to pick holes in!

As i mentioned already, my first impresions of the new kit design was good. How ever, when comparing against the existing design i think the upper section and sleeves which are mostly red would look better being white and the grey, and green flashes on the sleeves be red. 2 reasons i sugest this, the first it would be more "sponsor friendly" being able to print there logos on to white and the second reason is "white is the next black" much more upto date and pimp !!!!

Hope my input helps, coming from , to my suprise at the dinner seeming to be the 3rd youngest member of PTWCC (well technicaly im not a member till 09) .

I've looked at it Pip but we're limited to 600 pixel width (and a relatively small file size) on items on the tabbed section on the homepage so the image has almost certainly been reduced and deliberately made 'lo-res'. Funnily enough, pictures posted on the forum section have fewer restrictions because they link to external websites like Photobucket so if somone can send me the original 'hi-res' version I'll put it on my PTW Photobucket page and it will then appear in this thread.

BTW, I was hoping for a more appropriate answer to my question about how to formally respond to the committee's request for feedback. Disappointing.

Thanks for the reply Alf, with regard to the feedback from the members about the kit i think the committee would be happy to receive any comments by any medium that the member feels comfortable with, as long as they are constructive. and that the committee can discuss at their next meeting . i suggest that they be directed to the club secretary as is the normal pcocedure for any issues

Has I said in the club A.G.M,"because it's such a big item,there should be a special meeting arranged to discuss the new kit",then all these concerns could have been ironed out once and for all!,but I was told the committee were all grown ups and were more than capable of handling the responsability of choosing and ordering a club kit that would fit all the criteria of all the club members. So why NOW, the need for feed back?

Feedback! Are the arms and body from the same kit?, Three little words Dai, Back, Sack and Crack!, release all your inhibitions.
